One quick one for the day

Had some time tonight and so I had a new photo that I wanted to work on and did so here is the photo for someone to see.

I like the way it came out, had a good time learning some new stuff in Photoshop so that's always a plus for me.

Take care and have a Merry Christmas!

A short post before Christmas

Well Christmas is on it's way and winter is here so the photographing is what I want to do but that regulates me to shooting indoors or bundling up and getting out door, which is want I want to do.

It's been cloudy and cool but not cold yet, next week we are going down in the 20's and lower so that's going to be cold. Yesterday I wanted to get outdoors and was thinking about going to Zion NP but when I looked that way it was cloudy and on the weather it was going to stay that way all day, so looking down toward NV saw a few blue specks and looked promising, so drove down thru the Virgin River Gorge to a little recreation area in the gorge... here is some of what I came up with.

I was in hopes of getting some star shots but it started to get cold and my mind turned to food Ha!
so packed up, next time we will dress warmer and bring some food to keep me happy.

These aren't the best but they are giving me some learning to do since taking a year and a half off and not photographing its nice to be back but it's humbling ...

One that I worked on tonight after work that looks dark on my computer but in lightroom looked fine!

Well that's all for now

About Me

My photo
I lived in Park City,Utah. I've been an avid climber, skier, hiker, Photographer and yoga, participant. Travel much to do all of these activities and want to continue to do more traveling. Now that I've finished my travels of the Oregon Coastline and found that I'm not to fond of the rain but love the Ocean and surf. I'm now settled down in Southern Utah and traveling the four corners area. The warmth of the desert is a welcoming feeling for my wet bones, I love it here and believe I'll stay for awhile. The photographing here is to say the least more fun and really plentiful as you can see if you take a look at my site. Take care and get yourself out of the indoors and out into this great big beautiful world we live in.
